. I have lived in North Carolina most of my life and spent some years as a biochemist. Many years ago I was inspired to start painting by the beautiful scenery on our family farm in western NC. The farm is still a rich source of inspiration, as are the places I visit on the back roads and trails of my travels, especially by bicycle.
